Access, clinic and contact details

Mr Gallacher is a full time consultant knee surgeon with clinics and operating sessions at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry and the Shrewsbury Nuffield Hospital. He is also on the on call trauma rota at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and works alongside his colleague Mr Andrew Barnett in the acute knee clinic at RSH.

For acute knee injuries please as your GP to mark the referral as urgent and Mr Gallacher will see the patient ASAP, ideally within a week to ten days at either RJAH or RSH

From October 1st 2018 the RJAH Orthopaedic Hospital will only accept e-RS electronic referrals for NHS patients. If you specifically want to be seen by Mr Gallacher please ask your GP to put this in the e-referral letter and contact his NHS Secretary when the referral has been made (by phone or email).
